Ravi Shankar appeals to people for contribution for Bihar flood victims

'Art of Living' Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji on Monday appealed to people to contribute for relief operations in flood-affected areas of Bihar.

"At the time of such a national calamity, it is our duty to help the people of Bihar and exhibit the innate human values of love, compassion and service," he said.

The Bangalore-headquartered group has already mobilized relief materials worth Rs 10 crore for rehabilitation of the of the flood victims, a press release from 'Art of Living' said.

It will also raise another Rs 40 crore for the rehabilitation of the flood victims, it said.
