Todays highlights

• AOL volunteers and teachers Nitin, Dhananjay, Ranjan Pathak and others via Banmankhi,Kumarkhand reached Batani village in Madhepura under the guidance of COL Shahbaz of Madras Battalion.They reached 2000 people and distributed relief material.They said large number of people are still to be rescued.People are on the roof tops, trees and on temple roof and are not ready to leave their house.
  
• Dr Achuttamba who has come from West Bengal treated 750 patients yesterday. Today she also joined Col Shahbaz and reached Batani village with them and provided much needed medical aid and treated 600 patients.
• Yet another intervention of Aol volunteers was at Meerganj camp ,were 2000 people have taken shelter. There are 24 pregnant ladies and 250 children in this camp.The volunteers provided baby food , cloth and dry food in this camp.
• Aol volunteers and teachers Sanjeev Sharma , Susheel Singh with local organizers of Fabesganj reached Chatapur , Farbesganj with the army and distributed relief materials to more than 2000 people.
